Hi! My name is Mrs. Blackwell. I have been teaching for 17 years in the Stamford Public Schools. Prior to my career in public education I taught preschool at Sara Walker Nursery School, worked at Kids In Crisis, and was assistant director of Victory Day Camp in Westchester.
I have two sons named Kai and Cory. Kai is 14 years old and beginning high school! Cory is 8 years old and he attends Newfield. He is in third grade this year. We also have two dogs named Maggie and Cassie.
In my spare time I love to read books, ride my bike, draw, and ride my motorcycle! One of my favorite childhood books is The Velveteen Rabbit, by Margery Williams. If you have not read this book already, I suggest that you do! It is a sweet story. My birthday is in April and my favorite colors are blue and purple. My favorite season is summer because I hate to be cold. I hope we have somethings in common!
